I also got carrier bearing for my 02 at NAPA ????

I wondered about that. Maybe his supplier doesn't carry it. He had the same bearing but the carrier was different. If I could've used his bearing, it was like $20 or $30 I think. The owner was out sick with crones disease and he said if he was there he could fabricate something that would've worked. Oh well, its put back together now. It it tears up again, I'll know to check NAPA. Thanks for letting me know Blue and Rowland.

BTW, Mikes not exaggerating on the boosted launch. She crapped sideways spinning all 4. The first time I about stalled it launching in 3rd, the second time I got a little more boost......there's a fine line there somewhere that should improve my 60' times.

Anyone know how much those NV5600 input shaft will take? Scares me one thing because I hear parts are getting hard to find on them.

 

Oh, I've done it but the size 12's are difficult to 3 foot it to build boost. I watche Mike D do and I was able to. I used to 3 foot old trucks I've had but couldn't seem to manage it in this one, seems the petal config is a little different. I've had the seat slid up some since the DD went in but found that all the way back lets me **** my right foot better from the brake to the gas.

When I've 3rd gear launched in the past, it has been at the drag strip and just taching it up high enough that it wouldn't stall upon launch. I've had some ugly launches.
