Got pulled over by a cop telling me my tires are sticking out too far. Now I need to source some really wide fender flares but I'm having trouble finding a set that will fit a dually.

Does anybody have advice in this area?

My rig is a 2001 Ram 3500. 40" military tires, 8" lift.

Where are you? I have a friend in Middle TN that builds fiberglass molds for boat and hot tub factories. He offered to repair a set of fenders for a friend of mine. He can build anything out of fiberglass.

Check on what the law says before you go to court. **** the police.

I went through this same process looking for dually fender flares. I have not found a company that makes them. I was able to modify a set of flares to fit my dually fenders without much trouble. I had to do some minimal trimming on the flares. Also, there was no way to attach them, so I used my own screws to hold them on (up from the bottom so the holes would never be seen). My truck is a 3rd gen, but it would probably work on your truck too.
