Last night my buddy who swears by his powerjoke challenged me to a contest of speed. He was running a 2000 7.3L with his Superchip on the Hi-perf (100 horse) setting. He also has a cold air intake with a straight pipe. Neways, long story short...I kicked his a$$ 3 times and my truck is bone stock. The only time he would get close to me is somewhere around 105 mph.

All i have to say is...wait til my mods start. Its gonna get ugly...

 

Well All I gotta say if he would dump the POS Superchips Tuner and get a Real Chip I dont think you would have got him. If he wants a real chip have him get in touch with me and I will tell him the place to get one. Hands down the SC tuner in No comparison to this chip.

My superchips made a huge difference in power. What is the other programmer/box you are talking about?

 

my buddy just got a dp tuner for his 7.3 powerstroke we run very close now and that was me on extreme and him on his 120 setting he has a 140 but hes to scared to use it cuz he can smell his clutch. gonna have to dl crazy larry if he ever pulls past me

I am talking about the Power Stroke world on the Chip. This place does not have a "Chip" for Dodge. The guy is a custom Programmer but only does the PSD

 

SCT is a good tuner....but i agree...when i did this stuff for a living...the Bully Dog Chips we installed were HOT. BUT some chips will max that oil pump out, and you can put what ever you want on it, you aint getting more out of engine until you double stack pumps or go to a bigger unit.....dont really know what they are doing.....SO if you do see a PSD putting down some good numbers....give them some respect.....he spent about twice what it takes to get a Cummins that high. haha.....

 

Well thats thing, PSD Tuners have learned alot in the past year. They are finnaly making some big numbers. There is a couple right here where I live that are making over 600 RWHP but are pretty highly modified. But still the SCT is no compairison to the Custom Programming.

It annoys me that in order to get more than 75 hp out of a chip or module we have to tap the pump wire, while those guys that drive those other trucks i will not mention, just have to plug in the module or download the program.

 

tappin the wire.. blah who cares.. lol.. i am out of warranty.. but still have a service contract.. for another 10,000 miles.. but they don't cover much of anything anymore.. lol.. ATS parts i have still have warranty tho 3 year 150k miles.

 

The Edge still improves the power quite a bit without tapping.
Its about a 65-70hp thing without tapping (Juice/attatude)
I'm still happy with mine even though tapping the wire took my VP out in 30k

6 bills on fuel? with a 7.3? Pretty sure Dockboys big # on fuel is around 575....
