im wanting to get a bad chiip boys. asu can see my sig has nothin done to the trans. but i got a deal on a smarty, is there a tune on the smarty so i dont grenade my trans but can still get batter fuel milage. Im going to do some extensive trans work in the future i just dont have the $ right now

hopefully your deal on the smarty comes with a manual. the SW. (software) are different levels from stock-0 to SW-9. most radical aggressive. so odd number SW. have more timing added. and more fuel. the even numbers are just adding fuel. #1 is still pretty good on tourqe. good bottom end but has higher timing less fueling up top. this is the fuel economy mode. you can go on www.madselectronics.com and get some help as well. the big thing is if it is a brand new smarty it will have the loaded "REVO" software on it. this is fuel duration adjustment as well as Torque mang, and timing. if it is bought from someone you may want to ask them if they have downloaded the (REVO) software on it.

 

You should be ok as long as you don't go above level 3

 

you can still grenade your tranny with a Smarty on the higher levels
