I think the website says 60 or so HP. But it is not at the peak of the HP curve.
The Smarty's true performance doesn't show on a dyno, the Smarty is all about everyday driveability. Much more low end, removal of torque management and revs past 2700 RPM. It will put lots of on your face.

the smarty is for the 2nd gen 24 valve engine, do you have another truck besides the '91

There is no wire tap with the Smarty.

I have heard that you get around 60 hp and others that have actually lost hp!
I haven't seen dyno sheets to back any of that up though!

That said, I wouldn't give up my Smarty for anything! Daily driving is a blast and all the other extra's are well worth the cost. If I ever get the time (when), I will dyno with and without the Smarty and post the numbers.

I lost 20 going from the EZ to Catcher. (Smarty #9).

Truck is way better now than with the ez. All about driveabilty.....

i went from a edge comp to a smarty. and i acually like the smarty better. cant wait to stack it with a tst tho

 

Me too, lost the Comp and run with just the Smarty now. No dyno numbers but I much prefer the smarty that my old comp on 2x3. The smarty is so much smoother and refined compared to how my truck ran with the Comp.
