my friend has an 02 2500 ddp2 and (mach 4s not in yet), hot rod vp44, 64 trim turbo, full built suncoast trans, intake, exhaust, edge comp, and smarty my ques is 1st does the edge add timing and should I run timing on the smarty also what suggestions on settings do you recommend? Thanks

 

Only run the even tunes on the Smarty. Comp does the timing. Smarty doesn't on the even numbers.

start with the default settings for whatever you want to use. change the other settings once you find a setting you like for power delivery.

 

i found it best to go to level 5 and drive it for a day or two. play with one setting for a few days and see how it changes, then play with the other setting. if you start adjusting all of the parameters at the same time you'll never know what each change does on YOUR truck!
