i heard that you were not suppose to run your smarty on level 9 (the level with timeing) stacked on an edge comp box. is this true and why cuz the comp box is just a fuel box or aleast that what i thought

 

for what I know the edge does have timing need to run the smarty on even number programs this is fuel programs. with the new revo software there is the availability to adjust the timing less or greater in value on the software program levels. I have a TST fuel box no timing on this box I can raise the timing on the smarty. I have a HO truck that has more timing than a SO pump if I raise my timing up on the smarty with my mach 4 injectors I will get a timing knock. I would look up edge and find out what and how much timing is added on your levels I have never had a edge box. I dont believe timing is a bad thing to much can be bad or heavy towing with high timing is bad. look up Bob Wagner for smarty info or search more and see what others with a edge comp are running. I may not of helped you but hope I did.

 

The edge does provide timing the smarty will need to be on even #'s.
