Slippin Clutch blues....

Guys..

One major concern here, Finally my clutch is on its ninth of nine lives. Yesterday while tryin to make a hard launch i slipped it twice and hard..... Merrick can tell that story... Finally i know this booger is starting to slip more than id like it to, Last nite i backed off plate and starwheel and now am driving slower to try and save this clutch, or prolong its agony of my right foot and premature dumps at least...

I want to bomb out my ram SEVERELY within the next two years, 376 max and 315 or so DD is gettin to be old and fast....I want to be over the 500 RWHP mark, My concern is should i go ahead and invest ASAP in a dual disk and input shaft ASAP? or will that just be catastrophic to go ahead and drive until i actually have more BOMBS on the ride? I have 370's and Delivery Valves sittin at home, as well as a shiny new 100 , and a zero. I know what else i need for the engine, its my driveline that im concerned about..

Peter? ur suggestions, or anyone else for that matter?

Tx

If your going to be that high, then I'd go ahead with the DD. Build it once and build it right.

My vote too. No sense in doing a patch to a lower grade clutch then to have to upgrade again in the future. Its not like you can sell a used clutch very well.

Its good to have the end goal in mind.. It makes those decisions easier.
