Has anyone tried to change the trailer towing mirrors on a '02? I'd like to trade them out for a '01 or possibly an aftermarket chrome set, but haven't seen them done. Is it a simple swap? Or even possible? Thanks for the input!

 

its posible, Want to trade me for my chrome ones? I am repainting the truck all black with sport front end so would like to get the black towwing mirrors. I was shooting for the flip ups but no body wants to trade them for some reason!!!

I installed flip ups last night on a friends 95. Took less than 2 beers from unwrapping dealer packaging to yanking old power mirror switch. Get the little door panel retainers from the. dealer if you don't get a kit. It's easier to cut them off than try and pry them out and re-use them

 

I talked to a boy the other day that has a 99. He just added the power flip ups to his truck. The factory said its no go on that, but he said it worked fine.<br>Anybody else done this swap? ???

I just installed the **** Extendables on my '02... and I love having power/heated mirrors again! ;D

 

I have the black ovals on my '98 that I would trade for the bigger ones that stick out. (towing mirrors I guess they are)

 

any body interested in some chromies??? ;D
