Re:Scotty II question
But It's TRUE!! REALLY!! :'(

Anyway, We did test the Scotty [glow=blue, 2, 300]"RAM AIR III"[/glow](Insert Trumpet Sound Here). And I like it!!

Install was a Breeze...... Remove OEM Box 5 Min (Includes Grabbing wrenches) then Install the RMIII. I installed three self taping screws around end cap. (Not sure if that was needed but it holds the assembly together for easier install) then after I tightend the clamp I screwed the IAT back in place and pushed in the "Filter Minder" and Presto that's it! ;D

My Customer is pretty picky and he was impressed by the Install and look.

We hooked up a flatbed trailer (10,000 lbs with wagoneer) and hit the local mountain grades.

All Tests were at 6,000ft elev and 7/8% Grades
His Truck: 2003 2500 4x4 6sp with a PE EZ on 80hp

What we found difference wise after installing the RamAirIII was about

- 50 degF Lower EGT's at cruise
- 100 deg F lower at WOT when Accelerating above 2500 RPM
- Roughly the same EGT's at 2,000 RPM when holding steady pulling the Grades at 65 to 75 MPH
- 0% Restriction showing on the Filter Minder with the RMIII verses 65% Restriction before with the OEM box with new filter
