The great thing about the Scotty Filter is it pulled in cold air from the stock fender area as well as the negative pressure side of the windshield cowl lowering egt's......I saw as much as 150 degree change with the one on my 96.

Sorry to bring back another old thread. I'm in research mode today.
Seeing how it's probably not cost effective for anyone to reintroduce this, it seems to me the benefit of this was the cold air intake. Wouldn't a custom built enclosure share the same benefits?
