scheid injectors

I dont know if anyones seen it,but there is a guy in the classifieds selling some 7 hole .024 edm injectors for a 24v.They are scheid injectors and he wants 750 bucks I think.Just wondering if these are at all streetable and what would they compare to in an f1 injector.I take it they are quite large, and if anyone has any specs on these at all please tell

with twins they might be streetable, those are for twins or huge single application only, if you put them in with a comp or drag comp I'm not sure what would blow first, turbo, clutch, or head gasket. As for comparison I doubt F-1 has anything comparable, I might be wrong but not too many people run that much fuel

7x.24 are huge! My guess is they are a pulling injector. Their Lightning 2 injectors are 7x.12 (150hp) if I remember correctly.

kelownadiesel:

The 7 hole .024 injectors you mentioned in that classified ad WOULD NOT be a good street injector! I know that Scheid Diesel would only build an injector like that for a CUSTOM application,......like for a pulling truck as the members already pointed out. Also, as the members also pointed out Scheids Lightning II's are 6 hole .012's. As I recall, Scheid builds their "Lightning Series" Injectors up to Stage IV.

the 7 by .024s are way to big for the street . i have seen the 7 by .018s and they are not realy streetable these smoke heavy at idle and blank out and street when just a lite press of the throttle no street manners when run with a single maybe twins would clean them up not even sure about that .
