s300 wastegate

i bought an s300 from a guy that custom builds them.... the wastegate was supposed to be fully open at 40 psi but doesnt seem to open till about 45-50 psi. it has the normal actuator on it with no place for adjustment. is there anyway to turn the psi down without getting a different actuator?

i just installed my twins today and would like to drop it to about 30psi opening pressure, right know i can hit 50 psi with less than half throttle, what kind of options do i have?

Is the actualtor arm threaded with a lock nut? Never seen an S300 that wasn't. If so make it a bit longer so it opens more easily.
Have you tested the top turbo separately or are you guessing when it opens?

i ran the top by itself for a little over a month, it jumps right up to 45psi then it will start to slow down on boost. i never got over 50 but i always backed out at that point too, and still a little uncomfortable for me, also there is no jamnut or threads on the arm, between the actuator and lever, i thought it might be a little different than normal....

That would work too, just not as easy to adjust.

Yes with out it it doesn't open far enough I also use a soft copper gasket .040 on the cover to seal the cover (I have an exhaust brake).
