I want to make my own kit to replace the bangos and run larger line from the filter to the vp-44. Like the vulcan or scotty kits. Does anyone know the tread pich and size of the holes were the bango bolts go and what fittings might work.

 

i believe they are M12.5 x 1.5, but i cant say for sure...check summit or jegs.

you can buy a kit with 5 in it from genos garage for 35 bucks. and that comes with one tapped for a fp guage line. i just got my kit in today.

 

I found a local place to get my fittings (Earl's brand as I recall). I only needed one adapter becuase I also replaced my filter housing with a spin-on. Actually I needed two more adapters to adapt from 7/8 to 1/2 for my fuel lines. KW did not have the head with 1/2 in stock and the 7/8 head was about 10 bucks cheaper anyway.
