Remote Fuel Filter Question

Thinking about adding a remote fuel filter when I change out my LP soon. My question is the OEM filter housing has the water sensor in the bottom. With the old filter gone what should I do with the wiring? Will it throw codes because it is not attached?

Maybe just give it a try and unplug the sensor & start it, then check the codes...when I had my fuel system apart, I would turn the key on & off to roll up the windows, and it didn't set any codes on my truck. I had the fuel filter canister out so I could drill and tap larger SAE holes for my fittings.

Mine are bagged and tied up. No codes.
