Redline Box.. What to stack w/ smarty, drag?

I've got an 01 Dodge truck, looking to make her run. I have a set of lighting 3 injectors, lighting vp44(fass pump suppling), ats 5000, and a tranny to hold her. All around the pulls everyone is running the redline box for the obivous reason of the 4000 rpm range. So I figured that would be a good fueling box to go with... I was looking for something to stack with it, and heard the drag comp works well, and or edge ez. After being on this site for a couple days really tryin to do some research you cant go 2 minutes without bringing something up about the smarty... I have been to their homepage and checked out all the sweet things that does. With all the wild reviews I dont think I am seen any negative feedback on the smarty besides people having trouble updating, but anyways so I was wondering if anyone had the smarty with the redline, possiably a ez or drag along with it to. Just trying to find the right set up before buying 10 wrong ones if you know what I mean. Any information would be great. Thanks again.

you cant stack the drag comp with the redline boxes. Both are wire tap boxes, so it wouldnt work. You could run teh drag comp in ez mode (which is basically an expensive edge ez) and stack that combo.

However, ive never ran the redline, but i would stack it with the smarty.

you might also look into the tst pm3 comp/smarty. its cheaper than the redline, (you'll have to get your own gauges) and fuels real hard. and ive had the smarty/tstpm3 comp up to 4k a coupla times. These diesels usually lose power after 3500~3800 rpms

to turn 4k rpms in a 24v you need to go through your head. Valve springs at least!

thanks, i knew that on the drag comp, but i heard that the reason the guys run the drag comp instead of the ez is because there is more fueling in the drag comp which then leads to more timing so in the ez mode the drag has more timing then the ez. I would like to talk to someone that has the redline hooked up with the smarty... sounds like a good combo to me. Thanks again

Ive got a buddy with a redline box and a smarty and few other things, it's a 02 with a 6spd. I do know it is a dangerous combination.

Ind, where are you at in IN?
BTW, I've got a redline sitting on my kitchen table. I've got a similar pump and I'm going to stack it with my EZ.

I know Doug runs a comp in ez mode with a redline. He won't steer you wrong

I'm running a smarty with a tst comp and its a great combo. The smarty will help spool that turbo you're running and the tst comp fuels to 4500

Indfarmboys,
What part of the state are you in?

We have some pulls down south if you ever want some easy testing ground!

I should have clarified, I haven't put the redline in yet. Right now, I've got the TST comp on there. The TST fuels very aggressively, and I've been told the redline is more aggressive yet
