Turbo Timer is set for 3 minutes. I looked at some posts on setting up the Isspro EGT based timer. Looks like 2000 and might even only be 2001s and later, require an additional bus to be powered to rid ourselves of the Air bag and ABS lights. I'm glad I'm not the only one that this didn't high idle on, and we both are running 2001s should be a good starting point for troubleshooting. If you want I can send you the link to power up the additional bus.

So your FASS turned off when trying to use the TT? Is your FASS connected to the factory LP plug and routed to a relay then the pump? Or is it wired to just switched power or something??

Curious to how quad is working the high idle?? Seems it is at different RPMs for everyone? If he is just applying an APPS voltage that can vary from truck to truck and maybe cause different results?? I know the pot on my high idler can be a bit touchy.. Only talking from around .5 to 1 volt for idle ranging from idle to 1200ish I believe... (Been some time since I've played with it...)

Not really a huge issue. But when people pay 6-700 dollars for something most people want it to work flawlessly. I for one don't care, but I'm sure if I was running a beta test I'd want to know of any lights/non normal actions that are the direct result of the equipment I am asking the testers to test. If its' something Quad can fix great if not he can atleast be aware of the issue and not blindsided with these little issues once the box goes GA or production.

Pretty sure there is no way to keep the abs and air bag lights off with the key off and the engine running. Every one I have messed with has this same anomoly. I think most people do not pay attention to them once they pull the key and get out of the truck.

I am a little curious on the high idle thing. The few trucks we messed with were flawless. I will want to see a few more trucks first, I am sort of wondering if different injectors cause different problems at idle. I know with stock injectors it works perfect. I don't really want to discuss how we do it because I do not want everyone else doing it!!!!!!!

I am also curious how we have a rough idle???? I don't see how that could be possible??? I will look into it, I will be curious if that happens to anyone else. This set of tunes should be smoother than any other one we have put out.

We are going to wait and see more results before we knee jerk. I will be paying attention so if it works fine let us know, if not let us know what is broke like these other guys!

Thanks for the feedback.

This update is quite an improvement on my truck. Most noticeably less surging. I noticed a slightly rougher idle then normal. The surging will happen during slight to moderate acceleration, but doesn't do it at all under WOT. The surging during power braking happens at about 10psi and goes through 15psi (didn't try higher). It does it with the RAD on or off. Building boost however is very easy and progressive. Much better then a TST Comp, and at least slightly better then a Drag Comp. I hope getting rid of the surge doesn't detract from it's manners when building boost.

Going by boost and EGT's only, my truck performs best on PL08. PL09 and PL10 have progressively slightly less boost, and sounds like they have too much advance. To put it in perspective though, under the same temp conditions, my Drag Comp has WAY to much advance.

I don't have the EGT probe hooked up yet, so I can't test the defuel. The TT didn't work on mine, but I may have it wired wrong for that. I'll try the high idle in the morning.

Ya, the FASS stopping was weird as it's never happened before. The surging is gone on heavy throttle but really there on light throttle which is opposite from my TST Comp?? The ABS/Air Bag light doesn't bother me a bit. The rough idle thing is very weird but not very good for my truck. The high idle will be so cool when it works on my truck and the turbo timer doesn't matter to me because my remote starter has it built in. Have to test it with my remote starter to see if the high idle works tomorrow. I'm thinking I'll have to go back to the Factory PL6 program so I don't wreck something with the harsh idle on PL2-PL10.

The high idle is exactally what I am looking for, just have to fix the rough idle and set it up to 1200 rpm. Great job so far Qzilla...

turbo timer turns off @ 3 minutes, wont turn off with the brake pedal. high idle goes to 900 degrees @ 2 minutes, and wont disengage with the brake pedal. will test defueling and power tomorrow...

Just checking in. I received my test box today and will hopefully have it in tomorrow. I am really looking forward to it as this is my first real power mod. I probably won't tap the wire for awhile (a day).

Thanks Quad

Lotero, maybe you have a bad brake pedal switch? Just a guess.
