Just gotta say that I did not know this many 2001 trucks existed!
Don't get me wrong, I have tons of 98-00 and 2002 trucks but, I bet I have a list of 200 2001 trucks!!!!!!!! It is really insane.
All you guys with 2002's step up if you want it and follow the directions listed in the first post. I have a good amount of 02 trucks but, it is by far the shortest stack.

Quad,
The excitement is killing me. When can we maybe expect to start getting some calls? I can not wait to possibly get a call. I know I will look at my phone more at work now. I promise to call back soon as possibly once I may see it. It brings out the diesel gitters in me.

I've been checking the phone daily to see if there are any missed calls, and I've been checking my e-mail atleast a couple times a day!
I'd love to see what this truck would feel like with a box.

If you read closely Phase 1 includes the important gauges. EGT, Boost, FP and Trans or Oil are all included in the base module.
You also will be able to have defueling set or disabled.
The de-fueling is the best ever, I promise. It works so good it I set it low just to watch it work!

I also forgot there will be a few options for the turbo timer in the base module as well. You can do it based on time or based on egt. Your choice.
The difference is that the Commander will let you set it and change it easily on the fly. If you have the base module you will need to download the tuning file that has the setting you desire. There is just only so much I can do with a small semi-discreet 3 button switch!!
Don't get me wrong, I want to sell the Commander just like Edge wants to sell the attitude. That is why we are in the business. The difference is that I am not goint to absolutely force it down your throat whether you want it or not. I think that is terrible and shows that some don't really care to provide what the customer wants.

Quad, it seems like my 01 6 speed defuels worse/earlier (maybe at or below 2000 rpm?) in 1st, 2nd, and 3rd gear (maybe even 4th) than it does in the higher gears despite Smarty, Edge Comp, or TST Comp. In 5th and 6th it definitely pulls hard past 3400 although I'm usually trying to shift before that (tachs quickly with my gearing) Will your unit address this defueling in lower gears?
Edit: I just checked, it defuels at 2700 in the lower 3 gears. 4th pulls at least past 3000.....I was running out of real estate in town to test anymore. Any idea what your defuel will be on 5/6 speeds on those lower gears?
