Question for the Turbo Guru's
Question for the Turbo Guru's
I have stage 5 jammers and no box on my 24v, so I'm thinkin about adding a programmer either an Adrenaline or Comp. I need to know what turbo would work with this setup. I'm thinking about an Aroura 3000. So let me know what your opinions are
. With the sticks alone I see 1300 deg preturbo at WOT, and I really don't want to go any higher.

id go with a bd super special, htb2 62/14 or a Industrial injection super phat shaft 62/14 plus high tech turbo and I.I r the same company but all are very similar turbos the bd super special may save u a few bucks tho and be just as good i was almost gnna go with one before i decided to get one built with stuff u cant get from the big companies
It really depends on what you do with your truck, elevation, expected results and the list goes on.
With a handshaker, you can get away with a bit more turbo. But if you are towing heavy, keep it a bit smaller.
A 62 sized turbo would be the most common. I would think a 14cm housing would also be ok depending on the other info missing.

If you tow with the truck the Super B Special might be a little too much turbo. Our regular Super B will support 450hp no problems spool just as quick as your factory turbo and if you out grow it down the road it will upgrade into our twin kit.
Ok doing some quick Powerstroke owner math i got between 500-550 at the flywheel. I don't really want to put on twins and I ocasionaly pull at the most 15K, I will be doin some sled pulling and thats about it. Thanks for the input but keep it comming.
The Super B Special is a great turbo for sled pulling. You are going to be hard on the throttle so keeping it up on boost wont be a problem. And if they measure with the plug it will just fit the 2.5 plug.

well I think its between a Super B, or an Aroura. I dont have to worry about turbo size here cause your stock or super stock. I wish it was as competitive around here as out east.
