Quesion for Super B owners...

Is the Super B any smokier on the bottom than the HY? I know they claim it to be a very streetable turbo well suited for towing with quick spoolup but how does it compare to the HY. I don't mind at all if it is smokier, just curious. Thanks!

It is bigger, so I would say yes it would be smokier down low, but when it spools up it will clear up more smoke than the HY.

Does it sound like a good match for my sig? I don't tow, I just like to play a little here & there. EGT's hit 1350 a little too easy right now. Me likey smokey too!

Yes, for what you've got listed the hy is a definite restriction.

Super B would be a good choice. Of course it will be smokier on the bottom end than the HY--it's a bigger turbo. I'm very impressed with it though for as small as it is.

I like mine. Once it lights everything is good. It will smoke on the low end. If driving on the highway and I let off the pedal and the turbo spools down, then get back into it hard the area behind the truck turns to instant darkness
