I plan on installing my Quadzilla XZT 60 hp box tomorrow. After reading the directions it looks like they want me to tap the IP wire. Is this right? Do I really need to tap the wire to get 60hp out of this box? I was under the impression from reading other posts that this little towing box doesn't require a wire tap.

Did you find the ground wire was about 10" too short? I want to tuck the harness in with the rest of the under hood harness for a clean looking install but the only way to do that is to lengthen the ground. It's not a big deal but a longer wire would be nice.
