PYRO wire length for pod

I got a 3 gauge pod for my truck, is the pyro wire long enough to reach the pod? I had to buy longer tubing for the Boost gauge.
it will be plumbed before the turbo. "I was told the boost gauge tube was more than long enough".
Thanks Ya'll

I guess it depends on what guage you bought... I have an Isspro and it was plenty long.

I haven't done mine yet, but it sure looks long enough. It actually states in the directions(yes I read them and am PROUD to admit it) that the lenght of the wire is part of the gauge calibration. I have autometer also. Where did you plumb your boost into? Mine was plenty long, I went into the intake right behind the fuel filter. Maybe they are different 12v to 24v. I'm going to wire my pyro tonight so we'll see if it is long enough.

I installed an AutoMeter Pyro that has a Probe lead that goes to the Pyro module that mounts under the dash and then the wires from the gauge go to the module. I had plenty left over to coil and bundle

I have installed 4 or 5 Auto meeter pyros and the wire is long enough for pre or post, with the guage in the center hole.

The pyro wires are plenty long. You are correct on the boost gauge though, mine barely made it and now I will be adding a FP gauge and moving the boost gauge farther up the pillar. I hope it makes it.

Where did you get a longer tube?

Most any auto parts has it for less than 20¢ a foot. It's used for oil pressure gauges and some smog control systems.

I ordered it from a local speed shop "virginiaspeed.com" $11.00 for 12ft its an AutoMeter item you should be able to find it at jegs/summit. I couldnt find anyone here who had it by the foot.

Those of you that went with the Autometer pyro's:

Was the wire leads coming off the pyro staggered, as in one was about an inch or so longer than the other?

How about the wiring going from the probe to the gauge? Were those even? Or was one end staggered?

I have my pyro staggered, but the wire going to the gauge is cut even, instead of staggered as well, so it's going to make an ugly loop/bend in the wiring...

I think they do that to compensate for slightly different readings from the probe.
No two probes are identical, so they stagger the wires to make the readings the same at the ends of the wires.

All instructions I've seen say do NOT cut the wires coming off the probe.

If the pyro has a seperate amp box, then the wires between that and the guage you can shorten to fit.
