put in the 0 plate

Well I put in a custom zero, I call it this because we tappered (ever so slightly) a curve on the bottom end fueling to provide some driveability. It is truly something else, it will now hit 1500 degrees on the pyro within a few seconds . It pulls super strong in every gear which is the biggest difference, before it would top out in OD at 20 psi . Just thought I'd keep yall informed!

#0 plates are awesome if you can handle the air for it up high in the RPM range.

Advance your timing! Mine would peg the gauge from 0-70mph before I got it timed, and that was with 131 delivery valves, and the 160 injectors. Now that I got it timed I am hard pressed to get it over 1300*. Also, a tighter torque converter will help with EGT's because it keeps you out of the higher rpm's. If you have a fairly loose converter that never pulls you below say 2700rpm's then you will really have a hard time keeping it cool, cause that is where these 12 valves get hot is up high. I definately like my 0 though

What are they worth new? You can have it for 60% of that cost. PM me if you want it.

On another note, if you spike at 1300 on the pyro for a few seconds, is damage impending? or do you need to go up to the 14s and 15s? I'm thinking water meth might be a good idea at this point.

1300* for a few seconds is fine. My cousin who's truck we have apart right now had seen 1600* many times for 5-10 seconds, and the engine looks like a new one. You can get them really hot as long as you dont hold it there...

Take cumminsdriver's advice on the timing. Water meth is quite a hassle with a stock HG on a 12v and no studs...
