Can you put a fuel plate on an EGR motor?
One of my trucks is from california and has the egr valve and tube on the top of the motor. TST does not sell plates for this motor. Is that only because of the emissions "issue" If i put one on will it mess up anything mechanically? (I think there may be something already blocking off that egr system anyway)...

You will have to be extra careful watching the pyro because all the air coming into the engine goes through a hole about the size of a quarter. Changing to a 49 state intake horn will fix that.

or just build a block off plate..... The reason they dont want you running the plate is what what said above plus tst is concerned because the egr equipt motors do get plugged stock, add more fuel and soot and it makes a mess of things.
