haha, you guys never stop! does it onvlolve some sort of pressure relief or blow-off valve? if so, i have read it works good for when the throttle is released quickly - but have also heard they do nothing for the locked up shift . . .

or are you thinking twins!!! haha

Its a blow off valve, but it has no relation to the throttle. We'll keep you posted. Brett wants to make millions off of it, I'll settle for faster spool up off of shifts.

this could be interetsting. i know mike mentioned it to me - but that was about it. i'd like to hear/see more when you know more!

btw - on the way to cochrane from red deer this afternoon, i was playing aorund on the lonely highways a bit. i was able to hit just under 50psi quite easily when i wanted to. not sure if it would have kept going if i wanted it to - i didn't want to push it though, that seemed like a bit much for an s300. i have not touched the wastegate either.

Kevin ran his bullet to around 80 psi. Granted, his exploded. But that being said, 50 psi isn't that bad, should still be on the map at that pressure.

If you look at most turbo maps, they become less efficent at the higher pressure ratios (above 3:1), aka more heat. Twins, you'll have cooler denser air as you should be under the 3:1 ratio, if they are designed correctly. You'll as require more drive pressure (you'll be no longer 1:1)

My current twins are around 2:1, which is the sweet spot of the map area. Max egt's are around 1300 deg's, if I held my foot on the floor for a minute or two. Most of my street driving I'm around 700-800 deg's

Nice, Anything for a 62? LOL. If I read it right those are 66 and up? Seems to skip from 60 to 66, do you just assume in the middle somewhere? Again I don't have a tag and mine was boxed as a 0.7 ratio

The anti-bark device sounds interesting too, I can bark mine between gears if I want or just on a romp to the end of the block.

These maps are right off the borg warner site. I'll see about the 62's. As for turbine housing sizes, compressor impellers and compressor covers, I can get anything you want for the S300 frame size. The S362 compressor is rated at 75lbs/min which is deep into choke.

Garrett mass flow rating on their turbo at higher efficency numbers, not as deep into choke.

I do have lots of housing specs/sizes for the S200/S300/S400 stuff, I just can't post it here

Still nothing for the S500, but soon.

I'm sure what killed Jason Ed turbo, wasn't just the surge/barking. The turbo wasn't right to start with, hard to put the blame entirely on surge. As for a Airdrie Skunk Werks Twins, we can be bribed. beer and pizza sure helps.

I'm game anytime. Sure have learnt alot by trying different stuff.

Guys I live in a cool climate and start my truck and place the auto in gear and put on the park brake for a few minutes on cold days. Do you guys do this to heat up the tranny so it will shift out of third?? it does help my 95 shift earlier in to 4thand lock. just wondering lol.???

Sure, leave out the pepsi. I can see I am no longer needed here.

Tate budy, I have a few extra cans of pepsi just for you buddy, and no you can't escape that easy.

I never had that cold gear 3rd gear hold. You have your heat exchanger still installed? That what heats up the transmission oil. Lots of guys remove it for some reason.
