It runs hotter, but with the twins you would probably be fine. Might look into water/meth or even nitrous. They both have a cooling effect.

Depending upon the amount of diesel fueling, propane will do a good job increasing power. The heavirer diesel fueling you run the less effect propane is. It's hard on head gaskets so it's a good idea to keep power increases, it does produce, under 100, maybe no higher than 70 or 80, even less than that if your timing is advanced (i.e. EZ, VA, and Comp boxes).

It does burn cooler than diesel, by itself, but because it is actually adding extra fuel to the overall mix and therefore really doesn't decrease egts.

The biggest hastle I've in running propane over the past 6 years is in getting the tank filled. Doubles or triples fuel stop times.

well filling it up is no problem. im gunna rig up a way to fill it up out of the propane tank outside

so if im running lets say- a tst pm3, smarty, 130 hp injectors, water/meth - will propane give me enough of a boost to be worth it?

It will a power and milage boost to that combination, but whether it's worth it, or not, is your call.

I have read on another forum that propane will decarbonise (if thats a word) the cylinders. Anyone else know anything about this.
