Problems with 370's

OK i got the 370 in my truck and took it out for a drive today and when i brought it back and the injectors are leaking where they go into the head. Took them out cleaned everything again and put them back in and same thing. So what is going on? Has anyone else had this trouble when they put 370's in? What should i try to get it to stop leaking? Help me out guys ive been without my truck for 4 weeks and i want it back on the road. Thanks.

Did you put new washers on everywhere?? Bottom of injectors, return lines? What did you torque the hold down nuts to?

yes new washers everywhere and torqued down.

Could there be too thick of a copper washer on the nozzle?

Too thick shouldn't cause that...to thin could, if the injector bottomed out and didn't seal! Did you clean the injector bores with a wire brush?

I cleaned the bores twice just to make sure it was clean. Im gona try a different set of washers and see if that helps.

Sounds like a plan...I'm sure someone else will chime in with more ideas later, but it sounds like you did everything correctly!

Arn't you supposed to use the thin washers with the 370's?

I had to take my return line off and clean it up with emory paper to get it to stop leaking when I installed my 215's. Different injectors didn't help. Maybe you're leaking at the return line connections.
