POWER Combo

How much power will this make on a 1998 24v auto 4x4?

AFE Intake
ATS Manifold
4" Straight Pipe
Edge Comp (Tapped and on 5x5)
Fass 150
DTT single disc with sonnax kit, etc.

Thanks

might even be closer to 300 on a 98.5, with all the other stuff you have I would do a turbo and injectors next, and don't cheap out on injectors If you do you will just end up doing it over like all the rest of us have.

I agree... do a little research and get the right injectors the first time.

62/71/14 turbo and some 150hp (preferably Mach 4s) injectors will get her singing guaranteed

that sound reasonable, the 62 turbo and the set of mach 4's Formula 1.

excellent choices for all around performance and should get you over 400hp

AFE Intake=3 hp. cost $330

Thanks
total hp= 7 hp
total cost= $1130

mach 4's 150+ hp. cost $900
muffler delete $50
BHAF $50
and you have $130 left over for savings for a turbo. just my simple opinion.

that's true but he already has those mods on his truck, and the air filter and exhaust system are needed with the power adder's to help keep the egt's down

Oops! my bad. for some reason i thought he was going to buy those parts.

any how, mach 4's and a 62/14 added makes a really high power daily driver.

Also look into the DDP 150's with a bigger turbo, but be careful egts go way up!! Found that out while pulling a trailer, and now now really sure what to due until I get twins!! Want to do water meth but those are still expensive!!

I agree that it wasn't the best purchase money/value wise but that was before I got on this site!!!! I had to replace my severly cracked manifold, and ATS was already installing gauges.

ON the other hand, and as stated above, my egts never go up anywhere near 1300, even pulling 2 jeeps up the mtns. So I guess it worked out.

Are F1's the best money/value wise as well as power/reliability?

I would highly recommend the F1's I wont even tell you about all the junk injectors I tried, then I had a set of DD150's and thought I was setting the world on fire until I went to the mach 6 F1's, they smoked less, made a ton more power, drove smooth on the street, and the EGT's didn't spike up as fast. And Don and Tim have been very helpful with support info and tech. help.

I now have Mach 8's in there for truck pulling, and they have been a great set of injectors also.

If you go very big on the injectors you will definitely need to upgrade that turbo with them.
