I'm trying to find a carrier to change my differential to a limited slip, I got the idea from T-Bone.
When I looked at the sticker on the hood of my rig it said Spicer 3.5. So I get under the truck and check the plate on the differential. It says it is a Dana on the cover and 3.54 on the tag.
A friend of mine was helping me with a valve adjustment and he said to check the VIN#'s, they match. Am I looking at a Dana or Spicer? And does anybody have the right carrier.

Spicer is the division of Dana that makes driveline parts. I don't know why the two stickers would use different names for the same axle.
