PacBrake
PacBrake
99 dodge, has pacbrake on for years. Hadn't drove it much for 2 years.
Started driving it again , pacbrake wouldn't work.
Took it off, cleaned the insides ( where butterfly valve is ) Replaced vac cylinder and Solenoid.
Now it work but does not disengage till :
I unlock toque converter and turn off Pacbrake.
Once the engine gets down to idle RPM's , it disengages.
Any Ideas ??

Like he said. Take it off and pm it on a clean table. The screws are hard to find. (Don't ask)
As I remember, it is a bit sensitive to even torque on the screws, also. Fixed mine several years ago. Never had any more trouble. Gets a squirt of PackBrake lube twice a year.

Thanks for the responses.
Took it to my son, he adjusted the linkage on the vacuum cylinder shaft.
Must have been out to far going past 90%.
Now it works correctly.
Could be I have lower vacuum preasure from pump. I will check it out also >
