im lookin to p-pump my 01 dodge... the guy down the road has done some of my work before and said he can help me put it on..he said he has a pump of a 97 automatic...i heard there is a difference in automatics and 5 speeds...can the automatic pump do as much as the 5 speed pump?

 

Either pump can be modified for big power.

What state are you from? Looks like you have a nice truck setup already.

 

i live in indiana...my vp44 is going out so im kinda tired of the electrionic crap..that is main reason i want to p-pump..i just wanted to make i wasnt buyin the wrong thing

 

me personally, HAVE HAD MORE LUCK WITH BOMBING A 215 VS A 180
(215=manual. 180=auto)

others make big power with a 180.

Do you have the aurora 500 as a single i supose... is it very slow spooling? sorry didnt wanna hijack

Me and a buddy of mine pull locally...

 

yeah i just have a 5000...it actually spools pretty good...it starts commin up around 13 or 1400 rpm's..i have been satisfied with it...i live in milan...i think i pulled against you (pourin diesel) at jennings county when i had 5inch exaust out the back and a b-1 turbo...but now my spider gears are out...any opinions on what to do there anyone??..i have 3.55's. people are telling me to go with detroit locker...is that the way to go??..i still drive it alot on the road so i dont want to get something that is going to cause me more troubles.

 

Thats the pull where I didnt even make it off the line. Clutch didnt like 5th gear anymore.

I can't really give you good advice on the Detroit...But there are several on here that can.
