Thread Size & Pitch For Pump Fittings? Couple Of Other Pump Related Questions.

On the 12 valve what size are the holes & what threads on the injector pump fittings for the return & inlet? Will a shut off on the return shut off the engine like a rotary pump? Can the check valve in the pumps return be removed if a external regulator is used?

the shut off wont do nothing but cause crazy fuel psi dont do it. you can put an external regulator on as long as it keeps good psi. what are you wanting to do?

I am updating the fuel system on my truck & I have a pull cable hooked to a ball valve now on the inlet for a emergency shut down as in the pump siezed wide open & it is on the fuel filter outlet now.I am loosing the factory fuel filter setup so need to move the valve also.On the Standyne rotary pumps if you crimp off the return it will shut the engine off & wondered if this pump would do the same?I am also going to AN style flare fitting on the inlet & returns so I need to know the size & thread or the holes.

The inlet is M14 x 1.50
The return is M12 x 1.50, I think, but I'm not 100% sure.

These fitting are kind of hard to find, here are some from Vulcan:
