Other mods for Juice w/ Atittude - DD and Towing - no bombing

I just bought a Edge Juice w/ Atittude (I should get it in a few days) and now I'm tring to figure out what other mods I should do for a nice reliable setup for DD and Towing a 7K trailer. I'm NOT planning on dragging or pulling, so 'most' of the time the juice will probably stay on the lower settings. I do need the vehicle to be reliable and I hate breaking down, so I like to over build stuff.

Right now I'm thinking about a Walbro setup to keep the fuel pressure up. I feel the FASS system is out of my budget right now. I'm also thinking about a filtercharger and some 4" exhaust, but also not sure if I need it to keep EGT's down.

Is there anything else I need to make it reliable? Anything with the Auto tranny?

Skip the filtercharger and just get the BHAF. The 4" exhaust will help alot.

For your auto, get a good torque converter and a good valve body to bump the line pressures. Make sure you do this before you start to have tranny troubles.

I got my TCI TC and BD valvebody from Jegs for under $1000.

I'm in the same boat as you are, pull about 8000#(camper, trailer, jeep). I've got the Juice in, RV275 nozzles are sitting in my desk and I have an order in to DTT for a TC, VB and deep pan. Later if my EGTs are high I'll look at 4" exhaust and water/meth, no more money now! I figure this setup should be pretty reliable for the loads I'll be pulling.

Oh yeah for LP I installed a Holley Blue pusher pump.

The juice with a set of 275 injectors would make for a killer towing setup. Definately gonna need more air though. I'd say keep the juice and do a converter/valve body setup from DTT.

I'm happy with a Vulcan bigline/relocation kit, JWA, 4" and K&N drop in.
I pull my bass boat with my cabover camper on #2 with no sweat through the mountains at 14 MPG and about 17 on the flats, EGT's never get over 1000. I can't really imagine doing much better than that.

Well if youre after reliablility I would steer clear of the wire tap on the Juice and run it in Ez mode, even with a Walbro setup I wouldnt tap the wire. just my $.02

Got it last night and installed it. Yes, I "tapped" the wire. It took about 2 1/2 hours total install time, not including the Pyro because my box was missing the 'Bung' to install in the exhaust manifold, but my supplier is getting a new one sent out....

Anyways my next mod is definately auxiliary fuel pump. but I'm still trying to decide if I need anything else including a filter charge and exhaust. Plus, I don't really have the money for tranny work! can I just get away with a shift kit and the stock TC?

Steer clear of shift kits and get a full on valvebody. I ran a DTT valvebody up to 430hp with no issues. But then again I never towed either. Just did lots of racing.
