new VP44 and it wont start
I just put in a new VP44 and put everything back right, and now its not starting. It is getting fuel so i checked for codes and got
P 0122 throtle posistioning sensor volts to low
P 0123 " " high
P 1693 DTC Detected In ECM Or PCM, and is says soething about companion mode ?

P 1693 is a compainion code, you will need to get a code reader to pull the actual code. Might be a stupid question but did you bleed all the injector lines and everything?

yeah what im going to do is take it apart and put the piston #1 to TDC and then it should be timed, all i did was put the keyway on the injection pump gear at 12 o'clock

timing is a non issue
On the vp44 as long as the keyway and key line up, and you don't shear the key, it makes no difference if you are at 12o or not. I always crack three lines, crank till fuel stops bubbling, tighten them up and it starts right up.
