Famous last words - ok, I am stopping with the mods here. Seriously, this thing really pulls nice, highly recommend my mods to anyone that still wants to tow AND have fun...

Hot Rod Vp44 on a 2000?.... Any problems with how the motor runs?

How is the HR pump built, that is different? Did you find out any imfo on that?

Just curious... One of the VP44 VENDERS told me not to use a HR pump. Said the SO pump was "better". He said the HR would make my truck run ruff and would not idle good and would not perform smooth. Said HR pump is only good for Race trucks.

Is this VENDER full of Bull? Any Hands on Experienced opinions on the HR pump?

II can give you all the detailed info you want or need. Which vendor gave ya the above info?

Glad its working out for you lez- I think hrvp is a great bomb on a mildly bombed truck. More power without having to tap the pump wire

I'm no expert, but I sure love what mine does for me. I'm guesstimating it was good for 80 hp.

It almost seems to me that it actually idles a little higher, but it is completely smooth. Might be the FASS?
