If your still haveing trouble with oil in the coolant still, you might need to run it and keep flushing it with ALL laundry ditergent to get ever last bit out of your system. I had to do it a mess of times to get mine fully clean when mine blew last.

Thanks Brett

I seen a fire ringed truck blow coolant all the way down the track twice yesterday.
So whats the answer then? Marine gasket and studs?

So without o-rining the head how much boost can you run without blowing a HG?

I believe o-rings work good but you just can't torque once and be done, since the o-rings pretrude out of the head some they need to sink in to the combustion ring, and that usually takes a couple different torques and some heat cycles in between to get it to settle in.

A friend of mine buries his 60 lb gauge during sled pulls.
He has over 25 hooks with stock bolts and gasket.

I never blew a gasket until I installed an "o ringed" head on my 99.
Never again!
