new guy

Hey everyone. I am new to the diesel world and this website. I have been around farm tractors all my life but i finally own a 98 dodge diesel 2500 4x4 quad cab long bed. The previous owner has done a few upgrades to the truck and it is currently putting out 569 hp. on the dyno and 802 lb ft of torque. My question is if anyone out on this site knows where I can get a dual stack exhaust for my truck. I have pics and priced out the parts based on the pics but I don't want it to end up looking like a goobered job. I was just wondering if anyone makes and sells a pretty kick butt stack system. Thanks for your help.

Re:new guy

Yeah I know but all the previous owner has done is four inch exhaust, The bully dog race chip with tuning module and one of those better flowing air filters but I can't remember the name. And also re done the turbo with the banks impeller and the high rise dual ram intake. That is what he has done and hopefullt from the help of all the good guys on this website I will be doing alot more. Thanks for your help.

Re:new guy

I am guessing here but the engine is a 12V correct? Thus the Banks twin Ram intake...
I imagine the torque is probably inline but your buddy might have overstated the HP a tad when he sold it to you
What you have is a great running truck with room to do alot more right?

Your probably gonna want more fuel and that will require more turbo to keep the egt's down. (exhaust temps)

Welcome to the site!!!

James

Re:new guy

Let me get with you all when I have the truck in my driveway and I can start fishing around for upgrades and see exactly what is done. I know the truck based on what he has told me but i never dug around the truck while he has owned it. But for anyone else interested I did find a great place to get stack exhaust kits for dodges, It is a place called Metzger Motorsports. These guys own a trucking company in Indiana and have a pulling rig that sports a cummins and a quad turbo setup. Anyway there number up there is 18004484638. Talk to a guy up there named tim and he will have it on its way to the door. At least I know I have stack exhaust on my truck. I may not know much of anything else at this point but I will get back with you guys when I do.
