new calipers?

I'm in the process of putting on a larger lift and noticed my calipers are in pretty bad shape. I allready have replaced the rotors and next week i planed on putting on all new hard lines + stainless braided caliper lines. I'm thinking at this point while im at it I should replace the calipers but after a couple hours of searching the forums I havnt really found the info im looking for. The only aftermarket calipers I can find are EGR witch are danged expesnive and it seems to be they dont imporve breaking on some trucks and do on others. I would like a better caliper but want to be able to goto an autoparts store and buy pads. They dont have to be pads for a Ram but i dont want to have to goto the caliper manufacturer for special pads. I thought I saw another manufacturer with a 3 piston caliper for a 2nd gen 2500 out there but i couldnt find them again. What do you guys suggest? Is there anyone else or are the EGR's worth the $$$

Thanks again
Chris

What I'm planning is to stay with OEM but put in a exhaust brake , also change the rotors so that they are removable to turn.
