new b question

I've been searching and can't find a direct comparison as far as a fueling comp vs going with bigger injectors on a 24 valve. I understand if you get injectors you need something to advance timing, but I'm looking into around 300 horses? (preferably without tapping pump wire---that sounds scary!) I want a good driver with longivity as well as get up and SMOKE when I want it. Also sound like I need a vb at least on my auto tranny. Any ideas would be great. Have to beat the psd wife is in!!!!!

I would buy the comp box and just don't plug it in the pump. As far as 300rwhp, thats pretty easy. Run that box with a set of 100-125rwhp injectors. I made 245rwhp with an ez box and 275 with an ez and a set of 40rwhp injectors. You could make your number easy with just the comp box, on stock injectors but then your hooked like the rest of us. I been thru three injection pumps but I need a fast big hp blast to make me smile after a tuff day in the office.

I was leaning more to the injectors and something like the EZ(not sure what mabey catcher/mad ecm?). I don't want to have to replace vp44 every time I turn around. Would something like that be enough to make quite a bit of smoke and out do the beefed psd? Exhaust is actually my next purchase. I want stacks. As for the tranny would I be able to get by with just the vb on 300 horses? I wouldn't trust the stock one with any more hp than what is has. I'm new to dodge so be gentle!

Cool, that is what I was really leaning to, I just wasn't sure if that would be OK. Now what about the tranny?

OK, Now what order should this be done in? Tranny, box, then injectors? Or injectors then box? Who makes a good inexpensive valve body for the tranny?

DTT will get the tranny parts to you I would do it first because the catcher WILL kill that stock tranny because of the massive low end power it gives.
1 tranny-2 catcher/or box-3 injectors

You should do the tranny first. Then add the box or catcher this will allow you have more air to help with increase fuel of the larger injectors. As mentioned a great setup is Mach 1.6 injectors and an EZ or Catcher.

Also as rebal mentioned give DTT a call and speak with them. I have abused their trannies for over 5 years now with no failures! This is in trucks making in excess of 800 RWHP.
