Need help lowering EGT's...BHAF? (help)

Hello All, Need some help here, Take a peek at my mod's, ever since I put in Dave's Triple-Disc (which i loooove) my EGT's climb so darn quick b/c no more slipping. I've been putting up w/ this for awhile but I need to remedy it b/c I will be towing #7500 on a long trip...I know a turbo is the perfect solution but it ain't in the budget right now, I have a K&N air filter now
(i know, i know), will a BHAF help w/ the EGT's not running up so quick? Thanks

The BHAF will help a bit. I had the BHAF, but the SAII is definitely worth the investment, even if a turbo upgrade is coming. It works like its advertised and has dropped my EGT's by at least 150°F at full load.

Scotty II is definately your best bet!

I don't understand having major EGT problems with Blue Chip Box & EZ...assuming stock injectors. But just turn down/off APB Box if needed. Should be no EGT problems with just EZ....until you can do the turbo.

With an EZ, stock turbo and 80 hp injectors...I could never get over 1100* EGT.

I should of clarified this earlier actually, I am more concerned w/ the fact that from a stop under moderate acceleration I can get to say 900 so quick...it backs off once i get going...w/ the old converter (stock junker) my EGT's stayed well in check b/c of the slippage i suppose. I never run WOT or race so my max EGT's are never really a concern, i am kind of a "half-throttle sprinter" from time to time. Oh, and I refuse to turn the box down, got it about 60 percent and that is where she stays

If your in the green and it backs off, as you say...than there is nothing to worry about. Just not what your use to but 900* is really nothing. Loaded, up a good grade...I will hold 900* at 70 mph.

Better air supply may or may not reduce EGT acceration...but like I say...no worries, Mate!

Well, I popped the BHAF on last night and took her for a spin...no noticeable difference in EGT's from the K&N but it sure looks cool ....I still fell better b/c I know it filters better..I didn't do the heat shield yet (this weekend's project) so maybe that will help lower a bit?!?!? ya' thinks?
