NEED HELP!! with injectors

What are the smallest injectors that I can run besides stock to power a HX40 turbo? This might sound crazy but I need there to be as little smoke as possible.

Alot depends on yer elevation..........Higher elevation equals less air,I would say that 275's would do it and the max without smoke would be DD1's...........anybody??? anybody???

Cheers, Kevin

With my comp box off I can get a light haze, but can drive it all day without any smoke, depends on the throttle.
But I question your thinking. If you are running small injectors you don't need the bigger turbo.
What is your plan?

Our plan is to run an Hx40 with good size injectors but not get botherd by the cops. Cause right now with the DD5's with Hx55 it smokes like a mug even with the BOX turned off.

Get some good quality Mach injectors. I'm running Mach 6's on the street with my manual tranny & twins. Turning off the Drag Comp and the TST PM3 Comp yields no smoke unless I want it. Towing seemed to make it smoke a puff before the turbo spooled any, but very manageable. www.f1diesel.com

Mach 2's are easily managed. Since going to KSB-1, I get no boost in town and can accelerate normally from red lights etc. with no smoke, even with PM3 on 7.
Get Don M's EDM's only...quality control is excellent. Some others are not! If you haven't already...read this thread...

I thought the DD2s were slightly too small to drive the PDR40-16WG. The EDM3s are a little too big for what you're describing IMHO. I've heard GREAT results form EDM2.4s from guys with hybrid 35/40s and with 40s. I suggest EDMs also and probably in the range of 2.0 to 2.4.

I would get hold of Don M~ and explain what you want. Personally I feel he is making the best injector available (and I have tried over 30 different sizes/brands).
