This isn't to take anything from Eric, or steal his thread - he has some VERY nice mods on his truck, and is a great guy - met him personally at May Madness in Las Vegas a month or so ago...
But, there are a few lower cost sources and alternatives for in-bed fuel tanks besides the $2000 Transfer-Flow jobbies - here's a shot of mine, made by an outfit called "Cinderella boxes" - got it thru a local RV shop for $275 - and have another $100 or so in the transfer pump and filter shown down below. The upper 9 inches of the box is tool carrying space, the rest is a 50 gallon fuel tank. The whole tank/box is steel and is lockable, and I added the wood plank top in order to be able to stand on it to wash or work on the top of the truck cab...

Re:My Aux tank Done
... and here's the transfer pump arrangement - the pump is a low cost Carter type, and the filter is a common auto parts item - around $25...

Re:My Aux tank Done
Eric,
I like the fact that your tank is hidden and doesn't take up the bed space, (nice install BTW) but then you have to put the spare tire in the bed anyway. [undecided]
Gary,
(I put the pic edit in to save load time for dial-uppers) ;D
I've looked at these type tanks in Agri-Supply and I think this is the way I would go. (BTW,,,, I have the same RBW hitch as you have) I don't use the bed for carring much of anything anyway and keep it covered with a soft tonneau when not towing. The under-truck set-up looks fairly simple and functional. Does it feed into the stock filler neck vent?

YUP!
I have a lighted switch lower left edge of dash, and a big bright flashing LED mounted at the top of my steering wheel shroud just in front of instrument panel that flashes as long as fuel is being transferred - cheap and easy, and helps prevent overfilling the main tank - it's all keyed to the ignition so I don't walk off at a stop and forget to turn it off - don't ask why I did that... ;D ;D ;D
