muffler delete

I bought a muffler delete kit and it is 4" on both ends. The tail pipe doesn't fit it. Is there something that I can do to fix this. I am thinkin about buying some 4" exhaust and making my own tail pipe. Any suggestions would be helpful.
Thanks, Dave

Where did you get the kit from? As you probly know, it should be 4" on one end and 3" on the other.

I'd send it back. I had the same exact thing happen to me except i measured wrong. Tried to make it fit with some reducers and other junk and it turned into a big PITA. I now have 4" turbo back and love it.

Good luck, Jake

Hey Farmer,

Since (should I say if?) your truck is down you could get your tailpipe stretched out to fit the ID of that 4" pipe. Just my .002

Yo Farmer ... if you're gonna 4" it, consider routing. It's lots quieter in the cab it you point things straight out the back. To keep soot off towables, put on a turn down type tip.

ck my pics out. Just leave enough room along side of the spare tire & enough room to get your hand around the chrome tip.

I dont like to deal with fire when working on a truck or car. Kinda scares me...what if there is a fuel leak?

It will take you longer to get the sawzsall out, put a blade in it, plug it in, crawl under the truck, cut the pipe, unplug the saw, put the saw in the box, and put it away than it will to cut it off with the thing. What I'm trying to say is use the saw, the will get to your face quicker and safer than if you use the torch. Just don't lay under the pipe while cutting.
