I have a hesitation when i step on the throttle. Just replaced the vp and fuel pressure is at 17. If i reset the apps, do i need to remove the smarty program? Is it ok to disconnect neg. Battery cables with the smarty installed?
i have noticed on my truck with the smarty and box off it has a flat spot around 25oo rpm. Does not with the comp on. Any ideas about this.

You can reset APPS with smarty, no problem. Same for battery terminal.

I have no flat spots with Smarty, so I'm guessing it's not the Smarty. Probably the Comp-- even when it's off.

 

People with stock injectors are reporting a "flat spot" after about 2" of throttle... but no one with larger injectors has seen this! What "70 hp injectors" do you have?

They were rebuilt by scheid rated at 70rwhp. Got them used and have been great.

 

RJ at what setting does this occur or is across the board. I've been running mine on the 5 setting and it keeps pulling till I let off. My buddy just test drove mine tonight and said it blew his Banks Six-Gun tuner away.

 

If your asking about the flat spot... I don't expirience it with my Mach 4's.... and all I know is what others say in the post I refered to above.
