A buddy of mine has a stock '98,24 valve,5 speed, dually, and wants quite a bit more horsepower. Would these be the right mods in the right order to support and lay down some respectable horsepower? Please correct me if I am wrong. All input is greatly appreciated.

not sure what's included in the gauges in attitude, but I'd for sure connect a fuel pressure gauge!
As for the above stated, I'd get the box after he straight pipes it (to lower egts) and get the air filter (to get more cool air). All that other stuff will work so much better w/ a box to tell it what to do.
Other than that, it looks good!
ENJOY!

After months of research..
1) 4" exhaust
2) Intake of your choice
3) Juice w/Attitude (gives you all the guages) No tapping yet...
4) Lift pump upgrade
5) VB and TC if Auto, or a gnarley clutch if manual)
5) Tap the VP$$ with a stealth cover
6) 60-100 hp injectors (DD or something nice)
7) "hot" program
8) phat shaft 62 turbo
That should put a smile on your face each time.
I went 4"
K&N
JWA
Tap and #5 always
using a LOT of caution with the go pedal. 19 mpg and enough to jump

i think i would do the edge drag come like i think he originally mentioned. i was never or will be a big fan of the attitude gauges.
Do the holley blue, gauges, BHAF, sps 64/14, exhaust, SBC clutch, then the comp drag (cheaper than the juice too!) and the injectors. one at a time or all at once. This will net ~475-495 hp. And will be one of the cheapest ways (and reliable) to get this kinda hp.
Now you will need to wastgate this turbo down to ~43 psi or install a set of studs.
But what do i know, im all stock

hhehe, ya...whatever.
I like the JWA digital gauges on the pillar mount, it looks VERY cool, and not so 60's. It also has the fuel Pressure gauge too, so it's a very economical set up too, and the hot program compares well with the drag comp. The turbo timer and all the high heat shutdowns features are the bomb. I don't have any injector experience (yet
) but I might some day. I'm going to get the big line relocation kit for now, and perhaps I'll install a walbro in due time if the stocker quits on me. I think if I go with the bigger injectors, a FASS will need to go in too.
I wish I had enough money to do everything I want right now, but I can't cheat on my retirement plan.

Sluggo, send Mike D a message. He is running a Walbro along with his stock lift pump, I rode with him today and the gauge was pegged out at idle which was 30 PSI and he said at WOOT the lowest he got was 14 PSI. I think I can handle that system better than I can a FASS, ohh and he is making 507 HP with that system, thats if I remember the number exactly.
