tweeder,
mine did the same thing about 2 years ago (6mo. old lp) i paid it no mind. Then without warning (we wont discuss what happened to the pressure guage) and yes with no pressure guage hooked up, it shut down in the middle of the interstate. No check engine light or anything. That cost me big time. So, with that being said, monitor your fp close and if it keeps happening and drops lower, replace the lp. Wouldnt be a bad idea to do it anyway. There are a few choices for you and different preferences. Check my sig to see the route i went. Best of luck

Thanks, I've been quoted at $225 for LP and install, is that a fair price?

that seems fair. However, you could add just a little more to that and be done with the original lift pump and all its problems. FASS offers a pump only option which i went with and has a good warranty. there is also a walbro kit. you can search both and come to a conclusion.

That's not a good price!
You can get a Campaign pump from your local Cummins dealer for about $70 and put it in your self.

I would do a system like the FASS, I put one on my buddies truck and it is pretty sweet.

Definately. Go with the FASS system and you'll end your LP worries.
