I have a 01 with 4:10 reg cab with aluminum bed. What should my average fuel milage be?<br>Secondly, what would be the most cost effective mod for power? Thanks

probably a fuel box and some gauges....the fuel box will help some with mileage also...

 

either get an edge ez or the tst level 1 and an egt gauge and a fuel pressure gauge to watch that dam lift pump. any mod over 60 hp or so and you will be hurting your tranny. I get around 16 to 17 out of my 5spd 4x4 with 3:54's. My 95 2x4 3500 with 4:10's got around 15 with 5spd 12v

 

You can see what my truck is about and what I have done to it. I have a 9' steel flatbed and average around 18-19 mpg. Mine is a 4X4 so if yours is a 2X4 I would suspect you would get 19-20. Good luck.
