Maxed out P Pump on and Running!

Picked up my truck yesterday and have now driven it home (150km), all I have to say is HOLY COW! It is a dangerous animal now. I have not been able to floor it yet for a couple reasons, wet roads and not enough road... The pump flowed 430cc on the bench, not quite what I was hoping for, but I'm not sure I could have daily driven with 500cc now. At 3/4 throttle it will hit 50 psi of boost before it grabs 3rd gear and peg the pyro almost right away. There is nothing like doing a burnout from a 70km/h start while trying to merge onto the freeway! The truck runs smoother then ever and sounds way healthier, all around very happy with the pump build.

What they did:

Added the rack plug to increase rack travel to 21mm
Turned the barrels, maxed then out
4k GSK
60lb valve springs
rebuilt top half of the pump, there were a bunch of broken parts
bumped timing up to 19 degrees

Good to hear. Who did the work?

I'm putting my benched pump in on Monday, hoping I'll be as pleased as you sound with yours.

PDR did the removal and install and 60lb valve springs, northwest fuel injection did the build, had it out all day today on the trails, had to try it out on hill climb or two and pull a buddy out of the mud, awesome! Throttle is way touchier then it was, pulls awesome when you get into it, just all around very happy with the build. Tate, I hope your as happy with your build as well!

Now that I have the fuel to get that Super B Special singing, is 50/55 pounds of boost safe for it? Is my headgasket going to hold to that with just the head studs?

I'd say your turbo will be fine. Your headgasket might make an exit, you never know. I ran 50psi out of a 66mm on stock gasket and bolts on my 24v and it held, but I was expecting it to pop. Its the luck of the draw on these things.
