Max boost pressure
Head gasket can take up to 50 I think.
Stock turbo on the other hand, might be able to handle 40 before turning into shrapnel (might),
but just prior to grenading it, you're heating the air, which you don't want to do.

I ran 55 to 60 psi the stock gasket never blew.I pulled the head to install a stage 2 pdr head and the stock gasket looked great.I now run a oringed head and im up to70 psi with no ill effects..........P.s. in ran boost pressures of 55 to 60 for about a year.
one key is to make sure the truck/engine is good and warm before hammering the throttle---head gaskets have been known to blow at lower boost pressures on a cold engine---I'd think most guys would say 60 would be the max(scary range)--50-55 should be no prob as long as she's warm--chris
