I'm running a 96 12V with automatic, 2WD. I've done all the base free upgrades on pump. also have the 4" exhaust, AFE intake, trans work-BD valve body, BD flex plate.

i like the way the truck runs.

What sort of power is this making, HP and torque?

I also have a 2001 dodge 2500 4x4 auto with the 5.9 magnum. When i drive this and jump right into the 96 12V, it feels like the brakes were on in the gas truck.

We need have a little more info on the parts you are running in your 96' Dodge CTD 12 valve.

Such as:

1.) Which plate are you running in the P-7100 pump?
2.) What injectors are you running?
3.) Are you running the stock turbo or an aftermarket turbo?

All of this would help me get you an "estimate" of your current H.P. etc.

Well, the stock turbo with stock fueling will be around 20-25lbs. So, I would guesstimate you are around 25-30lbs. now.

 

You have a bunch more torque than a 5.9 gasser....that's what you are feeling.
